In this abstract ocean painting, I explore space. The deep blues and reds evoke a sense of outer space in the sky while a wave whips up spray. I also wanted to create a sense of what is happening below the surface of the water at the same time. Essentially the viewer can travel from the depths of the ocean to the expanse of outer space.
