After years of creating adventure and surf van/vehicle drawings, I am stoked to see one at scale on the outside of Reform Life's sprinter van.  Like many of my surf van drawings, each panel on the vehicle has a different pattern, breaking up the natural design of the van and creating a unique but natural aesthetic.      This surf van has adventured both coastlines and has discovered many waves from outside its windows. I have always had a great appreciation for vintage cameras. The way they look, the thought that went into design. The way they feel when you hold them, a bit heavy, you are holding a serious piece of equipment. I like the work that goes into taking a picture with an old film camera. Manually focusing, winding the film, adjusting all the settings. I love all of it.  This new piece was inspired by the camera that my mom used the whole time I was growing up. After searching for wall mounted surfboard racks and finding an abundance of low cost, generic surfboard wall racks, I decided to create my own surf rack. My goal was simple, to create a timeless design that was fit for surf shacks, refined like a hand shaped surfboard and adaptable for a variety of shapes and sizes.

One my most recent projects that I am so excited about is my largest painting yet. I had the incredible opportunity to paint a large scale piece for the entrance of a new hotel and restaurant in Point Loma, CA called the Monsaraz and Westerly Public House.  The painting is a mosaic of 13 thick gallery-wrapped canvases that stretch out over 16 feet long.
